Elemis BIOTEC Facials - 14 Jul 2014
New to Ciúin Spa, Slieve Russell Hotel
Let's face it, most of us are less than kind to our skin, especially at this time of year when the temptation to turn our faces to the sun can sometimes be too hard to resist.
If you're in need of some long lasting visible results from an expert facial, then look no further than the Elemis BIOTEC facials now on offer at Ciúin Spa in the Slieve Russell Hotel. Ciúin is the first spa in Southern Ireland to have the technology to offer these facials, which include steps such as an Ultrasonic Peel (draws out impurities), Microcurrent lift (firms and tones the skin), Galvanic Rejuvenation (stimulates rejuvenation), Oxygen Infusion (stimulates tissue repair) and Light Therapy Rebalance (soothes and calms the skin).
Unique to the BIOTEC facials are 7 high-potency activators. Each intensive complex of powerful plant actives, peptides, anti-oxidants and essential oils are expertly formulated to provide the catalytic power behind the facials and penetrate deep into the skin.
The 60 minute Biotec Facials start from €75.00 to €85.00 at the Ciúin Spa, offering you great value for money with long lasting visible results. Call Ciúin Spa - +353 (0)49 9525044
The Kimye Effect - 01 Jul 2014
Where to Honeymoon-Spa in Ireland?
It's been just over a month since newlywed superstars Kim Kardashian and Kanye West – nicknamed ‘Kimye’ – flew into Cork Airport on honeymoon, with rumours abound of where they had traveled to and what they were doing. Mundane cinema visits in the midlands vied with stories of entire castle book outs and that set us thinking where we might like to suggest for a little honeymoon spa break, particularly along the WAW - or Wild Atlantic Way - which runs from the far north in Donegal, right the way down our Atlantic Coast to the most southern tip of the country.
What about The Europe Resort and Spa (a brillliant Spa by the way) in Killarney with those gorgeous views over the lakes of Killarney and huge, comfy beds. Or Parknasilla Resort, near Sneem, where any happy couple could go for miles of cycles through the surrounding woodland, and return to the Spa for a deep muscle massage. Or what about coming inland a little to Cork and the Maryborough Hotel, with it's super chic ESPA spa and the fun and food of Cork on your doorstep. For more ideas, narrow your search on the Spa Ireland website down by selecting the counties you like in the search menu and you'll find lots to choose from. Happy Honeymooning.
