L'Occitane - 16 Sep 2013

Spanish Debut

A very French brand since its inception, it's good to see L'Occitane make its Spanish debut at the Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque in Tenerife. With 20 treatment rooms and 5 open air massage cabanas, the Spa by L'Occitane has been designed to consider all things ecological - roofs that can be walked on, spaces that blend seamlessly into the landscape and a smooth transition from the spa to its surrounding gardens. Clearly, this is a break from Ireland that is not for those who are heavily over spent already on credit cards but it's one to dream about and add to the bucket list. Click Here

Kiehl's - 01 Sep 2013

The Scary Truth About Stressed Skin

I adore Kiehl's and rate its Midnight Recovery Oil as one of the top beauty products ever invented. Last time I indulged in a little Kiehl's retail therapy in their shop in Wicklow Street the kind lady gave me a sample of their brand new Skin Rescuer, a stress-minimizing daily hydrator (that's a miracle moisturiser for worn out skin to you and me).

I love this - it's extremely light and soothing, helped along by Chamomile, Mannose and Rosa Gallica Botanical Extract. In a survey of 119 Irish & UK consumers, 75% saw reduced visible signs of stress on their skin and 93% would recommend to a friend. Available at all Kiehl's stores, ask for a sample and see what you think yourself.
